Visitors show an interest in history and antiquity.

The total number of visitors for 2019 compared to 2018 has increased by 19.26%. So during 2019 this Museum welcomed 72 613 visitors. While the number of foreign visitors for 2019 compared to 2018 has increased by 34.56%. So in 2019 there are 44,606 foreign visitors who have seen and are closely acquainted with the objects that this museum has.

Students, foreign and local visitors are interested in learning more about the history of Albania from antiquity to the present, explained through the artifacts and artifacts exhibited in the pavilions of the National History Museum.

While the summer season continues to be filled with visitors to the NHM, with foreigners appearing to have little interest in the objects being exposed. National historical museums are among the most important conductors of the formal interpretation of a country’s history, along with its national system of education. They play an important role in protecting the nation’s identity as well as conveying this self-image to visitors and the outside world. The National History Museum is the largest museum institution in Albania and one of the most important. There are about 5,000 artifacts in the museum’s premises, dating back to a relatively long period ranging from the 4th millennium BC to the second half of the 20th century.
